BUCKS COUNTY CONSORTIUM Thursday, March 5, 2009 Meeting Minutes Call to Order: A meeting of the Bucks County Consortium was held at Doylestown Borough on March 5, 2009 and called to order by Mr. Tieperman at 9:45 a.m. Roll Call and Introductions: The following Bucks County communities were represented at the meeting: Timothy J. Tieperman, Warrington Twp. Also in attendance: Rick Borgerson, Citizens Bank Election of Officers for 2009: Mr. Davis made a motion to nominate the following officers:
Approval of Minutes - November 11, 2008: Mr. Pellegrino made a motion, seconded by Mr. Tieperman, to approve the Minutes 11 of November, 2008. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report and Payment of Bills Ms. Bell presented the Treasurer’s Report for the months of November 2008, December 2008, January 2009, and February 2009. A motion was made by Mr. Cjazkowski and seconded by Mr. Davis, to approve the Treasurer’s Report for November 2008, December 2008, January 2009, and February 2009. Motion carried. Consider authorizing contribution for upcoming APMM/NJMMA conference in Cape May A motion was made by Mr. Cjazkowski to contribute $2500 to the APMM/NJMMA Conference for 2009. This motion was seconded by Ms. Teoli. Motion passed. Presentation: Honorable Frank A. Farry to discuss various legislative updates Honorable Farry introduced himself to the Consortium members and explained his role as a member of the legislature. He also spoke about how he can help municipalities since he himself was a former municipal worker. His presentation was followed by a question and answer session. Presentation: William Rickett of Bucks County TMA to give a presentation on compressed natural gas Mr. Rickett of the Bucks County TMA gave a presentation about compressed natural gas to the members. He handed out a fact sheet entitled “Compressed Natural Gas” to all the members which outlined information about the benefits of using compressed natural gas. His presentation was followed by a question and answer session. Community Updates None. Adjournment Mr. Tieperman made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:55 a.m. This motion was seconded by Mr. Olpere. Motion passed.
