Meeting Minutes

Call to Order: A meeting of the Bucks County Consortium was held at Warrington Township on October 2, 2008 and called to order by Mr. Tieperman at 9:40 a.m.

Roll Call and Introductions: The following Bucks County communities were represented at the meeting:

Approval of Minutes - September 5, 2008

Mr. Czajkowski made a motion, seconded by Mr. Tate, to approve the Minutes 5 of September, 2008. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report and Payment of Bills

Mr. Pellegrino presented the Treasurer’s Report for the month of September 2008. A motion was made by Mr. Pellegrino and seconded by Mr. Granger, to approve the Treasurer’s Report for September 2008. Motion carried.

Presentation: Patrick Harvey, Esq. and John McLaughlin, Esq., of Ballard Spahr, presenting and update on the new PA Right to Know Law

Mr. Harvey and Mr. McLaughlin gave a presentation on the PA Right to Know Law. They went over various sections concerning copying fees, documents that are considered public, record retention, forms for response, etc. At the end of the presentation they accepted questions from the Consortium Members.

Presentation: David Zellis, of the Bucks County Attorney’s Office presenting an update on Fraud Alert Systems

Mr. Zellis gave a presentation about Fraud Alert Systems and how townships/boroughs can help out with spreading the word by putting the alerts on their websites/TV Channels. He passed around sign-up sheets for municipalities to send back to his office to participate in the program.

Presentation: Brian Jeter of Comcast presenting an update on Broadcast Digital Transition Materials

Mr. Jeter was unable to attend this meeting due to a conflict. This item was not discussed.

Community Updates

Mr. Tieperman addressed the members concerning the salary survey. He asked if it would be okay to call Mr. Woglom and ask him to have the survey ready by either Friday or Monday. The members agreed and Mr. Tieperman stated he would contact him.

Adjournment

Mr. Pellegrino made a motion, seconded by Mr. Czajkowski, to adjourn the meeting at 11:05 a.m. Motion carried.
