BUCKS COUNTY CONSORTIUM Thursday, October 4, 2007 Meeting Minutes A meeting of the Bucks County Consortium was held at Guiseppe’s Restaurant & Pizza in Northampton Township on October 4, 2007. Approval of Minutes Bob Pellegrino made a motion, seconded by Stephanie Manson, to approve the Minutes of 6 September 2007. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report Vivian Bell presented the Treasurer’s Report for September month. A motion was made by Joe Czajkowski, and seconded by Mark Fournier, to approve the Treasurer’s Report for September 2007. Motion carried. Presentation: “ Public Official and Employee Ethics Law” by John Contino John Contino, Executive Director of the State Ethics Commission presented. Mr. Contino provided the membership with a Power Point presentation titled “Public Official and Employee Ethics Law”. He began his presentation with a discussion of the intent of the employee ethics law. His discussion then was outlined as follows: conflict of interest, restricted activities, statements of financial interest, investigations, confidentiality and penalties. During his presentation he provided real life examples and took questions from the membership. Mr. Contino encouraged members to contact him with any questions. He can be reached at 1-800-932-0936. New and Old Business Bob Pellegrino informed the membership that the November Consortium meeting would be a roundtable luncheon at the Bucks County Country Club. The speaker will be Dave Ivan who will be discussing municipal branding. Adjourn Bob Pellegrino made a motion, seconded by Stephanie Manson, to adjourn the meeting at 10:15AM. Motion carried.
