BUCKS COUNTY CONSORTIUM Thursday, May 6, 2004 Meeting Minutes A meeting of the Bucks County Consortium was held at New Britain Township on May 6, 2004. The following individuals were present: Chuck Barrett, Commerce BankCarol Bigham, New Britain Township John Boyle, Newtown Township John Cornelius, Bucks County Consortium John Cornell, East Rockhill Township Dana Cozza, Buckingham Township David Drye, Chalfont Borough David Jones, Boucher & James Daniel Kerr, West Rockhill Township Rick Lee, Delaware Valley Insurance Trust Anna Linn, Delaware Valley Insurance Trust William McCauley, Bensalem Township Richard O’Brien, Keystone Municipal Services Daniel Olpere, Perkasie Borough Robert Pellegrino, Newtown Township Richard Sabol, Upper Southampton Township Jeffrey Vey, Milford Township Andrew Warren, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Linda Wieand, Tinicum Township Preliminary Remarks Robert Pellegrino called the meeting to order, announced the morning's agenda, and thanked New Britain Township for hosting the May meeting of the Bucks County Consortium. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Jeffrey Vey, and seconded by Dana Cozza, to approve the Minutes of 1 April 2004. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report Richard Sabol presented the Treasurer’s Report for April. A motion was made by Jeffrey Vey, seconded by John Cornell, to approve the Treasurer’s Report for April. Motion carried. Membership: West Rockhill Township John Cornell made a motion, seconded by Jeffrey Vey, to accept the membership of West Rockhill Township. Motion carried. Presentation: “PennDOT” Andrew Warren, Administrator of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) District 6, presented. Included in his discussion were: the status of current projects, municipal roles and responsibilities, Liquid Fuels eligibility, traffic study requirements, drainage issues, dangerous intersections, establishing speed limits, etc. The membership discussed various problems associated with PennDOT’s involvement in their municipalities. New & Old Businees Daniel Olpere reported on the status of the 2004 Wage and Salary Survey, and requested that all municipalities report their wage and salary information as soon as possible.
