Meeting Minutes
A meeting of the Bucks County Consortium was held at Doylestown Township, on June 6, 2003. The following individuals were present:

Preliminary Remarks
John Cornelius called the meeting to order and announced the morning's agenda.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Stephanie Mason, and seconded by Robert Pellegrino, to approve the Minutes of 1 May 2003. Motion carried.
Treasurer's Report
The Treasurer's Report for May 2003 was presented. Upon a motion by Paul Williams, seconded by Tom Harwood, the Treasurer's report of May 2003 was unanimously approved.
Presentation: “Current Activity in PennDOT’s District 6”
Andy Warren presented. Included in his presentation were planned PennDOT road projects, federal funding road formulas, the role of the Bucks County Consortium in prioritizing projects, etc.
Membership: Classification (Associate Membership)
John Cornelius reviewed revisions to the Bucks County Consortium’s “Articles of Agreement”. Members had been asked to return an “Official Ballot” with the following wording:
The Consortium’s Executive Committee has recommended amendments to the Bucks County Consortium Articles of Agreement. A copy of the Articles, showing the proposed amendments, is attached for review. The principal amendment is the creation of a new category of non-voting membership, Sponsoring Members. In addition, annual dues for both membership categories are established: $125/yr.for Corporate Members (increased from $100/yr.); and $175/yr. for Sponsoring Members.
All returned ballots, which comprised at least two-thirds of the membership, approved the proposed amendments.
Membership: PACOG
Richard Sabol reported that the Bucks County Consortium was contacted by the Pennsylvania Association of Councils of Government requesting that the organization become a member at a reduced rate of $100 for the remainder of 2003. Robert Pellegrino made a motion, seconded by Vivian Bell to become a member of PACOG. Motion carried.
New & Old Business
The membership discussed the Bucks County Consortium’s Summer Picnic scheduled for July 25. Robert Pellegrino stated that invitations will be mailed to all members.
It was reported that Mary Flagg and Cornell Hopkins resigned from their positions.
Adjourn
John Cornelius thanked Doylestown Township for hosting the meeting, and reported that the next event of the Bucks County Consortium would be its Summer Picnic to be held at Doylestown Township on July 25. The meeting adjourned without motion.
