Meeting Minutes
A meeting of the Bucks County Consortium was held at Perkasie Borough, on January 16, 2003. The following individuals were present:

Preliminary Remarks
John Cornelius called the meeting to order, announced the morning's agenda, and thanked the guest speakers for attending the January meeting of the Bucks County Consortium.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Mary Flagg, and seconded by Robert Pellegrino, to approve the Minutes of 16 January 2002. Motion carried.
Treasurer's Report
Vivian Bell presented the Treasurer's Report of November & December 2002. A motion was made by John Davis, and seconded by Mary Flagg to approve the Treasurer's report of November & December 2002. Motion carried.
Presentation: “Update on Statewide Building Code Regulations”
Rich O’Brian presented. Included in his presentation were timetables for compliance, the scope of the new requirements, creation of an appeals board, etc.
Presentation: “State Issues”
Bruce Fosselman presented. Included in his presentation were new open records requirements, the status of intergovernmental funding, etc.
2003 Meeting Schedule
It was discussed and agreed that the Bucks County Consortium would meet at 9:00AM at the following locations:
- February 6 – Doylestown Borough
- March 6 – Chalfont Borough
- April 3 – Warrington Township
- May 1 – Hilltown Township
- June 5 – Doylestown Township
- July – Consortium Picnic – Doylestown Township
- August – NO MEETING
- September 4 – Bucks County Sewer & Water Authority
- October 2 – Warwick Township
- November 6 – Luncheon Roundtable Discussion – Location TBA
- December 4 – Holiday Luncheon – Location TBA
2003 Training Programs
There was a general discussion on future training programs and John Cornelius asked members to suggest training programs.
Adjourn
The meeting adjourned, without motion, at approximately 11:15AM.
Municipal Building Tour
John Cornelius conducted a tour of Perkasie Borough’s new municipal building.
