Borough Manager
The Borough of Lansdale, a progressive municipality with strong emphasis on economic and community development, is located in Montgomery County with an approximate population of 1 6,000. The borough is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Borough Manager. Candidates require a four (4) year degree in Government / Public Administration, master’s degree preferred, and should possess at least five (5) years experience as Administrator / Department Head in a similarly sized municipality. The position reports to a nine member elected borough council and is the Chief Administrative Officer for the borough. The manager develops and administers a budget of $34 million along with a staff of full and part time employees. The Borough Manager is responsible for carrying out key policy initiatives and engaging in successful strategic planning. Candidates should have proficiency in budget preparation and maintenance, labor negotiations, municipal operations including electric distribution and Wastewater Treatment Plant operation as well as effective supervisory skills. Borough Manager
The Borough of Hatboro in southeastern Montgomery County with a population of approximately 7,393 is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Borough Manager. This challenging position answers to a seven-member Borough Council elected at large. A bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field and/or a commensurate amount of experience in local government administration, including demonstrated supervisory skills, are required. Township Manager
Cumru Township, Berks County, PA with a population of 14,000, 82 employees and an annual budget of $12,000,000 dollars has a need for an experienced Township Manager. Primary responsibilities include revenue generation, economic development/community planning, human resources, public/community relations, financial and administration. Full-Time Manager
The Borough of Schwenksville is considering employing its first full-time manager. the borough has about 1900 residents and a General Fund budget of around $600,000. Police protection is provided by the state police. There are several public works and park projects underway that are being funded by the Montgomery County CBDG program and state grants.
