Guest Speaker/Topic Information:

PADEP representatives will be presenting details about these two pieces of legislation and how they interrelate with Act 101, including Section 902 – Recycling Grants and Section 904 – Recycling Performance Grants. As you are aware there have been changes to Act 101 as it relates to your municipality.  Act 140, places specific requirements on municipal eligibility to obtain financial assistance with their recycling programs, while Act 175 outlines the intent to make recycling programs self sufficient.  Todd Pejack, Environmental Group Manager, and John Lundsted, Solid Waste Specialist are prepared to explain Act 140 requirements in detail and address any questions you may have.
