Marita J. Kelley is a Local Government Policy Specialist for the Governor’s Center for Local Government Services, Department of Community and Economic Development. Marita is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she obtained a BA in Political Science and Economics and a Master’s in Public Administration with a Certificate in Municipal Management and Finance. She currently has 700 Continuing Professional Education credits in the fields of Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Management that she maintains to sharpen her existing skill set. Marita was the Borough Manager for five and one half years at the Borough of Marysville, Pennsylvania. As Borough Manager she was responsible for Administration, Public Works, Grant Writing, and oversaw the annual budget and audit. www.newpa.com
